With the support of the Order of Architects PPC of Como,
on November 6th at 4:00 PM,
architect Lorenzo Guzzini will present the project Narrow House
at the Aula Magna,
Polytechnic University of Tirana.
The work received an honorable mention awarded by architects Eled Fagu and Arba Baxhaku, professors at the university, on the occasion of the Maestri Comacini Prize 2025.

Lorenzo Guzzini's professional activity combines art and architecture in a quest for volumes and light, materials and elementary geometries, which find their meaning in the elements and ideas that shape them. No field stands apart from the other in the constant search for human perception within space overtime. Born in Recanati in 1983, he graduated in Architecture at the AAM in Switzerland. He has lived and worked in England, Ireland, and Portugal, and currently operates his studio-atelier in Milan and Como.
He founded his studio in 2010 and works on artistic installations, product design, interior, residential projects, and international architecture competitions. He has taught as an assistant in the Design Laboratory at the Politecnico di Milano from 2016 to 2024. From 2025 he is professor of Interior Design in SPD scool of design in Milano.
In Architecture, he won the award organized by the magazine Casabella, "Call for architects under 30," one of the three honorable mentions for "Young Promise of Italian Architecture 2014," the international competition The Plan Award 2015, was selected among the 50 international finalists of the Brick Award 2016, and won the InArch Lombardia 2020 award. In 2023, he participated in Brescia, Capital of Culture, with the project "Visions for a Present Future." In 2024, he will take part in Pesaro, Capital of Culture, at the Micro Architecture Festival FE.M with the self-built pavilion "Unforgettable." 2024 published in "Stone House" by Phaidon, he won the International Award Dedalo Minosse ALA 2025.
In Art, he won the "Young Artist 2016" award at the M.A.X. Museum, was selected for the under-35 Biennale JCE Jeune Creation Européenne 2017-2019, Paris Montrouge, FR, Artistic Director of the International Light Festival 8208 Lighting Design Festival in Como, selected for an artistic residency at the Amadeo Souza Cardoso Museum in Amarante, Portugal, and in 2024, he won the award for the creation of the Memorial Monument for the victims of the 2009 L'Aquila earthquake, in 2025 he won the Cramum Award of contemporary Art.
