Rhythms of Matter continues with an open talk by architect Thomas Coldefy, founder of Coldefy.

Working between Paris, Lille, Shanghai and recently Tirana, Coldefy’s practice engages architecture at the scale and complexity of the contemporary city, with a focus on large civic and cultural projects that combine multiple programs into a continuous public experience. The studio’s work explores how buildings can extend the ground of the city, blurring the boundaries between interior and exterior, architecture and landscape, while accommodating complex flows of people, culture, and movement.

Through internationally recognized projects such as the Hong Kong Palace Museum and major developments across Europe, the studio navigates between global ambition and local specificity, shaping spaces that are open, accessible, and rooted in context. Throughout the evening, Coldefy will move us through projects, personal reflections, and collaborations, framing architecture as a civic structure for collective life.
